Top 50 Pop Songs of 2015 - Honorable Mentions

For the 2 of you who checked back at this page since I last posted something almost two weeks ago, you might notice that I'm not very active on here. That's because I only planned on posting something once a week or maybe even every other week. It's not much but by the end of the year it adds up. Also I'm in London, so I guess I'm busy.

Anyways, there were plenty of songs that I'm sure people loved from this year that I failed to add to my countdown. A lot of them are in my Spotify playlist (it starts with 46), so I'll talk about a few of them, and maybe even shade them as to why they didn't make my list that I'm sure you all care about.

Post To Be (feat. Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko), Omarion - It's a good song, but the only part I really care about is the best lyric of the year, "gotta eat the booty like groceries." Everything else fails to compare to me.

Gold, Andreya Triana - Not as exciting as the other R&B this year.

Hello, Adele - I think it's a pretty safe song from her.

Boy Problems, Carly Rae Jepsen - You can never have too much Carly Rae, but I wanted to honor other people (she had 2 songs in the top 10 so I'm sure she's just fine). I also liked Emotion, I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance and LA Hallucinations. And everything else on the album.

Roses (feat. Rozes), The Chainsmokers - I didn't hear it until November, so it was kind of late to consider it. But maybe if this song suddenly gets played a shit ton in 2016 you'll see it on that list.

CHA CHA, D.R.A.M. - Good for the turn up, better than Hotline Bling, but still not that special.

Castle, Halsey - I think Halsey is pretty overrated and too servicing for the tumblr generation who used to talk about shit like never shout never and "to write love on her arms," but this song is alright.

Love Me Like You Do, Ellie Goulding - Good song, still sung by Ellie Goulding.

Worth It (feat. Kid Ink), Fifth Harmony - This snake charming bop is fun but the verses suck.

Back It Up (feat. Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez), Prince Royce - Honestly a very fun song, but I feel like I'm the only one who likes it.

Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber), Skrillex & Diplo - I feel like everything Bieber did in 2015 was overrated except for this song.

Fire Under My Feet, Leona Lewis - The music video is OD

There are plenty of songs I didn't talk about but these were the ones I wanted to address most.

Bye
